As a non-profit leader and business professional, it was a no-brainer for him to propel our journey at Kismet Coffee. If you can't find him behind the desk brewing ideas, he can be seen in the sky at the controls of an airplane.

Rowen has been a lover of all things coffee for as long as she can remember. A member of the LGBTQ+ community and a veteran 911 dispatcher of 13 years, she took a step back to look for something that brought her the most joy — coffee!

Kismet Coffee Roasters was born from a simple belief: that every great day starts with great coffee. Our story began in the most unlikely of places: a day job discussing the impending closure of a coffee roasting hobby. Two friends decided to turn this challenge into an opportunity.
Fueled by a shared passion for exceptional coffee, we joined forces to transform the fading hobby into a vibrant and thriving coffee company. Today, we proudly offer an array of premium coffee, delighting every coffee lover with each sip.
Our journey is a testament to the power of friendship, resilience, and the belief that the best things in life often come from unexpected beginnings. The name “Kismet” reflects our belief that finding the perfect coffee is destiny — it's meant to be.
Our Process
Every batch of Kismet coffee is roasted in small quantities using our carefully calibrated roasting profiles. We monitor temperature, time, and bean development to ensure each roast brings out the optimal flavor characteristics.
Our quality control process includes cupping every batch to ensure consistency and flavor excellence. We never compromise on quality, even if it means longer roasting times or smaller batch sizes.
